In Zeeland’s youngest museum, located in one of the province’s oldest towns, the whole family can experience Roman times in a surprising and interactive way.

Discover that a Roman fort stood here almost 2,000 years ago. Remains of the fort and various Roman artefacts have been excavated in Aardenburg, telling the story of everyday life in Roman times.

At the museum, discover interactively how these artefacts were used, for example in the kitchen and bathhouse. You can also try your hand at various Roman games.

Right next to the museum stands the Sint-Baafskerk, the oldest church in Zeeland. With a special VR presentation, you can take a journey through the history of this centuries-old church.
